You will need a Single Broadsword for the seminar. You can obtain one through me if you wish, I do have two spares which may be lent to you on a first come first served basis.

I will teach you a short form with single broadsword. Movements taken from Chen Tai Chi Broadsword and a Kung Fu Broadsword. This seminar which give you a grounding in how the Broadsword works and is suitable to ALL LEVELS including both Tai Chi and Kung Fu students. 

Today we had an excellent 3 hour seminar. The topic was Chen Single Broadsword. The form has 23 patterns and today we covered the 1st 13. We also looked at some of the application and sought understanding of how the broadsword was used a military weapon and how this has influenced the applications. Everyone played the broadsword brilliantly.

A photo of Crediton Children's Class at their first class in new studio. In the new year, classes for adults and children will be limited to 6 per class. This is because Robert the instructor is building a demo team for the Kung Fu School and believes that 6 is an optimal number for learning.

San Shou. This is the Chinese Figthing System that we operate here at BTKF. It has now been accepted as an Olympic Sport! This is obviously good news and for us, the news comes at a great time along with the new trainnig venue in Crediton. Time to get training San Shou style!
